Bandar Seri Begawan Tours & Tickets

Every bookable trip in and around Brunei’s capital — compared, priced and reservable in a couple of taps.

Brunei is easy to visit but awkward to get around: buses are sparse, taxis are few, the mosques have limited visiting hours and Ulu Temburong National Park is normally entered with a licensed operator. A tour with transport solves most of that in one booking.

Everything here is booked through GetYourGuide, which means live availability, free cancellation on most options and reserve-now-pay-later on many. Prices are indicative “from” amounts in euros and change with the season and exchange rate — tap any card for the live price in your own currency.

An honest note on choice: GetYourGuide’s catalogue for Brunei is small — around fifteen experiences at the time of writing, several of them new and with few or no reviews. We list everything relevant, say plainly where reviews are thin, and explain how to visit each place independently on our things to do pages.

Booking questions

Frequently asked questions

Which tour is best for a first visit?

The guided city tour with the water village. In about four and a half hours it covers a mosque visit, a boat ride on the Brunei River and a stop in a Kampong Ayer home, with transport between them.

Do tours include hotel pickup?

Most of the city, river and Temburong tours list pickup as available. Workshops are usually held at the organiser’s venue, so you make your own way there. Check the “meeting point” section before booking.

Will I definitely see proboscis monkeys?

Nobody can guarantee wild animals, but sightings on the Brunei River are common, especially in the late afternoon and early morning. Midday trips are the least reliable.

Can I cancel if my plans change?

Most experiences on GetYourGuide can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before the start. The exact terms are shown on each product page before you pay.

Can I visit Ulu Temburong without a tour?

Not really. Visits to the national park are normally arranged through licensed tour operators and lodges, who provide the longboat and guide. You can drive to Temburong district independently, but for the park itself plan on using an operator.
